George wins the club 100 Condor task!

Another good social tonight with George arranging a club 100k task TIS-BRU-MEL with a South Westerly 12knot wind and 4k cloudbase. 6 members participated tonight and all completed the task with George securing top honours. I languished near the bottom but made it round so that was something! Although I did recover from losing the tow at 500ft.
To make it easier I purchased a standalone wireless numerical keypad from Amazon for around a tenner which makes it easier than fumbling the keyboard for those more widely used functions (pic attached).
Just to remind you what it looks like there’s a screenshot of Keevil too!
Thanks George!

  1. I would like to set the record straight, Harriet Gamble did a great job in beating me into second place in her ASW19, her handicap took her 99.1kph to first place , great effort, I made a routing error after BRU and should have followed a welcome ex member Geoff Humphries in his Antares, unfortunately he went into the danger area near Westbury which cost him some points. Everyone stayed connected encouraging and helping until all landed back safely, great club spirit!
All in all a good night was had by most ,
still trying to sort out minor unknown problems with connecting and staying connected!? sorry Joe, Damien and Mick.

Another flight is planned for Wednesday evening at 19.00, I think 100km tasks are about right for all levels, so SAS BLD is next, same password as before,
see you all then I hope
